Is she snuggled up tight tonight?

1:18 a.m.

I should sleep I mean really,

Later today I will be busy.

Meetings, parents, call me crazy,

I can't help but think about my lady.

2:36 a.m.

Tick Tock, Tick Tock,

Time seems stationary, I'm like a nomad,

Quite sad because like Jimmy, She is all I got.

3:42 a.m.

“Toss one, Toss two” what's on her mind?

“Toss three, Toss four” I hope it's the same as mine.

I hope she's okay, I can't wait to hear her.

5:59 a.m.

OK! Snap out of it! You know she loves you,

You know she will be there when you wake.

LOVE IN THE DARK

Why are we fighting?

Why does our love for each other be clouded by

The minor issues that are forgotten the day after?

We say things that hurt each other,

then say sorry and boom,

Back into each other.

Finding it hard to understand why we bicker and fuss,

When that shit shouldn't even matter.

See we are what really matters,

And that's the way it should be,

Time is of the essence when in your presence,

WEDDING OF THE CENTURY

Saturday, February 28^th

St. Matthias Church is where family and friends congregated

To witness Kerri and Prince finally say ‘I DO’

And begin a life together that will be real and true.

Christina Perri’s ‘A Thousand Years’ plays as she walks down the aisle

And for that moment, for those few seconds the world stops and stares for a while.

As Dads watches on from the heavens above, he smiles,

So happy to see his first Grandchild finally go the extra mile.

They say their vows and register their names

They seal it with a kiss, enough of the games.

Time to look forward to a journey of love,

With momentary tribulations but guidance from above.

From the speeches of the mothers to the speech of the brother,

We heard exactly why they were made for each other.

As Prince welled up during his speech on behalf of them both,

We the audience wished them successful growth.

Out of all of the girls, Kerri is Prince’s one and only girl,

Their first dance was to John Legend’s ‘You and I’

Prince lifted his wife to the sky, as she is his whole world,

No question as to where their hearts lie.

Pictures a plenty as you can see it was quite the imagery,

This is why I call this the wedding of the century.

See love overflowed and as they tied the bow,

Like Toni Braxton said, just let it flow.

Before I go let me say, I hope this is me one day,
